  Great food. It never fails to impress. I will say this: the service needs a lot of help and don't come here in the dear of summer...The A/C is non existent. The carbanara is the bomb!!

  My wife and I live about a block and a half from Nonna Emilia's. We have been wanting to go for some time now. Italian is my wife's favorite and I haven't been able to shake fond childhood memories of eating there for my great uncle's birthday, some twenty plus years ago.
  The service was pretty darn good. With one exception, our waitress finished taking our order and I changed my mind about which salad dressing I wanted at the last moment. She said, "Ok.". I had the feeling the change would be overlooked and this was later confirmed when the salad arrived. However, without the kind suggestions of the waitress we may have spent double on what turned out to be way too much food for just me and my wife.
  Fast forward to the food. Plates arrive. Food is warm at best. Portions huge. We were happy we split a plate rather than ordering one each, as we still had left overs.
  The biggest disappointment was the sauce. Maybe out pallets are unrefined.
  Who knows. All I can say is that my wife's new Italian restaurant rating list goes as follows:
  1.) Giovanni's
  2.)spaghetti factory
  3.) Nonna Emilia's
  It is worth noting, however, that the service at Nonna Emilia's was much better than the spaghetti factory.

  Went with husband on a Monday, around 4:30. Inside was cozy, dim lighting, with plenty of tables and booths. I enjoyed the fact that I could hear my husband talking since music wasn't blasting. They have a large selection of wine. We ordered a calzone which was huge and cannelloni. I thought both were very good, my husband thought they had a bit too much cheese. Our server was great, she was very attentive. Garlic bread was also very good.
